A tuned percussion library featuring the Thai instrument the Ranat Ek. The Ranat has both Thai and western tuning which have been recorded for this product. Recorded in 24 bit at 48 Khz, this library contains 2 professional instruments meticulously sampled using high end microphones and outboard. One of the instruments is western tuned, which are played with soft mallets and with hard mallets and are provided as 2 separate instances. There are also a further instrument that is the Thai tuning system played with soft and hard mallets.
The instrument features 4 microphone selection possibilities with a volume adjustment on the interface for each microphone position, there is also an envelope for amplitude. On a separate page there is a tremolo/ Filter section which allows for a tremolo effect to occur between notes and there is a High and Low pass filter. An effects page is also provided to get you up and running, which includes convolution reverb, delay, lo-fi, transient Designer and a Limiter.
